Filmmaker Rodolphe Marconi spent eight months immersed in a children’s home, filming abandoned or court-placed kids. Inspired by Maurice Pialat’s Naked childhood, Marconi creates an atmosphere of trust so strong the children forget his presence and the camera. The result is an emotionally raw and unflinching documentary that leaves no viewer untouched.
