Le Chantier

Filmed over four years, Le chantier follows the restoration of Paris’s Pathé Palace under the direction of architect Renzo Piano. Jean-Stéphane Bron looks beyond machinery and design to reveal the human network behind the project: architects, engineers, workers, and cleaners. The documentary becomes both a portrait of collective effort and a reflection on how societies rebuild themselves through shared creation.
